The beginning of the 21st century also marked a new beginning for Eternal Gardens as it once again expanded, this time farther south to Naga City in the Bicol Region.
Eternal Gardens Naga opened in July 26, 2001 after the acquisition of a property near the Basilica of Our Lady of Penafrancia.
Having the corporate name Penafrancia Memorial Park, Eternal Gardens’ sixth branch pays homage to Naga City’s well-loved patroness, Our Lady of Penafrancia, who has a plaza in her honor within the park. The Blessed Mother’s statue was created by artist Amado Castrillo.
Eternal Gardens Naga is also the final resting place of Sec. Jesse Robredo, who perished in a plane crash on August 18, 2012. A beloved son of Naga and admired public servant, Sec. Robredo remains an inspiration to the many people from all over the country who continue to visit his crypt at the park every day.
