What does the
Eternal Gardens' logo stands for
The logo design for Eternal Gardens Memorial Park is inspired by Life itself. The core of the design is a stylized plant rising from a base of blue to enfold a cross at its apex. An arc of celestial blue completes the design and creates a whole, suggesting the eternal cycle of Life.
The plant motif projects equally significant meanings on two levels. On the pictorial level, it suggests gardens, the cool, healing sight of greenery; in short, the distinctive character of the park itself. On the symbolic level, it connotes the idea of Life Eternal, of the continuity of memory, of the need to remember. The cross at the apex is yet another symbol of Life Eternal, prefiguring the Resurrection by which all shall live forever. The arc of blue suggests the sky, while the base of deeper blue stands for the infinity from which Life itself sprang.
The logo thus conveys the idea of the continuing cycle of Life and the promise of immortality—the hope of eternity that we nourish by remembering.
Foundation and Development

A Vision Takes Root
Eternal Gardens Memorial Park first opened its doors on August 11, 1976, at Baesa, Caloocan City. This was a time when pre-need memorial operation was an unpopular and largely unaccepted concept. But through the strong vision and perseverance of its founder, Ambassador Antonio L. Cabangon Chua, Eternal Gardens not only weathered the storm but also emerged stronger, bringing the good news of “preparing ahead of need” to every Filipino.
Branching Out Across the Nation
Committed to its founder's vision of developing and maintaining first-class memorial parks in key provinces, Eternal Gardens oversaw the establishment of numerous branches. The expansion began in 1983 with another branch opened in Dagupan City, followed by branches in Biñan City, Laguna (1984); Balagtas, Batangas City (1986); Lipa City (1992); Naga City (2000); Cabanatuan City (2004); Santa Rosa City, Laguna (2008); and Concepcion, Batangas City (2013).

A Flourishing Future
In 2014, the company added Greenhills Park in Cagayan de Oro City as its tenth park, followed by the opening of its eleventh park in Cabuyao City, Laguna, in 2019. The company welcomed its 12th park in 2023 in Barangay Patag, Opol, Misamis Oriental. Looking forward, in 2025, for its second memorial park in the Bicol Region, Eternal Gardens broke ground for its 13th park in Brgy. Pacol, Naga. The company continues its development and expansion in key provinces around the country. Eternal Gardens is proud to have helped shape the modern pre-need mindset in the country. This industry-wide shift is reflected in the fact that today, over 90% of the company's clients purchase their property well ahead of need.

Where Faith and Artistry Meet
Eternal Gardens is characterized by religious art, including images of saints and other holy figures. These statues serve as a comforting reminder that our dearly departed are now in the company. Each park pays homage to the patron or patroness of the city that hosts it by building a plaza that honors them.
Notable Filipino artists have been commissioned to create the statues in each Eternal Gardens Memorial Park. The most prominent of these is the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ. A masterpiece by National Artist Napoleon Abueva, this image of Jesus Christ looking to the heavens with outstretched arms did more than change the skyline of Baesa—it transformed the lives of its residents. Soon, the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ became the symbol of Eternal Gardens’ excellence and a prominent landmark in each of its locations.
